Possibly Failed Arizona Department Of Corrections Background Check?

Hi. For the past 4 or 5 months i was going through the hiring process to be a correctional officer for Arizona DOC. I ped the written test, fit pro test, drug test, psychological test, medical/physical test but im not sure if i ped the background check. The Background Investigations Unit called me last week asking about my previous jobs, criminal history, etc. I was honest to them about trying weed twice when i was 19 (Im 23 now) but have been clean ever since and i also had a juvenile record that was expunged by the the state of California. The guy who called me asked me about each offense that i had which most of them weren't filed...in other words i beat most of the cases except one for ault when i was 15 which i was sentence to probation until i was 18 but ended up getting off when i was 17 for good behavior and good grades in school. anyways they also asked me do i know or have i ever known any gang members. i said yes i do know gang members. growing up los angeles anybody/everybody is going to know somebody in a gang unless you live in beverly hills or malibu or somewhere. This is the main reason why im trying to relocate to another state. Tired of the violence and hearing about friends of mine getting shot. Anyways i was honest about everything. The background investigator told me if i get a call back from them then that means they thought i was lying about something so the next step would be taking a polygraph test. After that he said but if i get a call back from my recruiter then that means im ready to start the academy. A week later i got a letter in the mail saying that i was disqualified for one year for reasons unknown. i was confused because they said worst case scenario is that i would have to take a polygraph test to prove that i was telling the truth. I kept calling my recruiter for 2 days straight and nobody ever picked up the phone or returned back any of my calls. Can somebody please tell me why they think i was disqualified? I lost a lot of money going back and forth from long beach to arizona 4 or 5 times, calling off work, paying for rental cars, gas, and working very hard preparing myself for the fitness test. i just need an answer since they dont want to return my phone calls. I know this is a long explanation lol but please take the time to read it and respond. Thanks.

I've known her for 8 years. We used to be really close, like inseparable, but now it's the exact opposite because we go to different schools now. I'm not trying to brag, but I'm smart for my age. A few weeks ago I had to have my dog put down. After the ER and vet bills, I was out about $1700.00 and I was mouring my "Abbey". The very next day my refrigerator broke (so I thought) My boss said it would be cheaper to buy a new one vs having this one fixed. I purchased a new one $1000.00 and had it delivered the next day. I had taken out all the shelves from the old frig and decided to keep them as they also fit my new frig. It has really depended on the children's ages and learning styles. This year I have two boys at home, 7th gr & 5th gr. Why are all people against gay marriage umed to be anti-gay?

I don't think that it's all people against same y marriage are anti-gay. The thing is, by not allowing same couples to marry or at least have the same protective rights under a civil union, same families are unprotected. What happens if your partner gets in a awful accident and the hospital won't allow you to see them because they don't have to, your relationship isn't recognized. What if you had been together for over 30 years and built a life, a home and your partner ped away. All the things the two of you have together could be lost. You could have no right to anything even planning a funeral or worse attending one, if the family didn't want you there. What if the two of you had children. Say you went through the steps so that the child would be your partner's biological child and he ped away. The child could be taken from you! Sure there are lots of things you can do to protect yourselves from many of these horrific consequences, but all the legal work would cost thousands and isn't always iron clad! All of these stressful issues that are freely protected with the rights of heteroual marriages. It's more then having to pay a grand for a name change. It's about family and protection.

i had a cheerleading accident in november and they couldnt figure out what was wronge. yesterday i went to the neurologist and they said i have had cerebral palsy my whole life and nobody ever noticed it. im 14 years old and they told me i probly couldnt cheer anymore or do gymnastics. is it possible, even with a very mild case?

I love going to bed watching my fish and they certainly don't seem to suffer any ill effects. The only tank which i switch the light off is the one right next to my bed as it is a bit bright if i face it while getting to sleep. I want another baby desperately, and have for many years, I've always wanted a big family. I have a question about Expungement for juvenile case?

i was charge with a misdemeanor battery back in 1999 i was 17. i was put on probation and was released successfully after 6 months. 10 years later i now want to expunge this for employment reasons but on 9/16/2008 i was put on diversion for a year due to carrying a police baton in my car i will be completing diversion September 16, 2009(the charge was criminal use of a weapon.). i got a letter from the district attorneys office stating that they cannot proceed with expungement due to the diversion case. does this mean that i will never be able to expunge this juvinile battery charge? Other than this diversion i have never been arrested or charged with anything as an adult. all charges and actions have taken place in Johnson county Kansas. they gave me an option of petitioning the court and seeing if the judge will proceed with expungement, but i don't know if that's worth my time. thanks for helping

Penguin Power Sponge Filter Just NOT Working...?

I've had the blasted thing for a week, paid a pretty penny for it too... I noticed it had shorted a few times today, so I made sure it was plugged in right, and it was... So I figured it'd just stop, or whatever. I was drifting in and out of sleep when I noticed, so yeah, don't start yelling at me for it. Either way, it's now completely dead, I've tried plugging it elsewhere, even in outlets which work for damn sure, and nothing. So I've unplugged it. I have two filters in at the moment, the Penguin and a Cascade internal. I got the Penguin because the Cascade appears to be on it's last leg [it's had a few good years]. As of now it is all that's running filter wise. The tank is a 29g breeder, with three pea angels, a bumble goby, three corys, a guppy pair, a dojo loach, and a banjo catfish. It's a bit late to be making calls, so I figured there might be a few fishy folks online that've had similar issues, and might be able to help. Post what you can, I have not checked the tank yet [hands in the tank=last resort]... so yeah, can you guys list possible issues and remedies? If there is no way around going in the tank, I'll do it... I just want to know if it's fixable since I did pay alot for it, and it's still new. If all else fails, I'll return it.

2003 GTI 1.8 burning oil?

I have a 2003 Volkswagen GTI 1.8t manual 5spd w/silverline exhaust and ABD intake. When it's idling I can smell the oil burning but don't see smoke. Smell goes away when driving but if i stop and just idle the engine for awhile it starts to blow blue smoke out the exhaust but it goes away again after driving.. Thought it was because of the valve cover gasket that was leaking but after replacing it there's no difference. Could it be from oil on the engine from when the VC gasket was leaking? It could also be from the turbo because I've noticed when boosting (mainly in first gear) it looses power and jerks a little at about 2500rpms that I attributed to a leak in a vacuum hose (I can hear it leak when the turbo starts to spool) but starting to think the turbo might be starting to go bad. Any ideas on what could be making it burn oil like this???

Well water turns off,HELP!?

Bought a house here in GA about 5 years ago. a year after moving in we started having well water problems.If you use to much water the thing stop sending water.If you turn it off for about 30 mins the well starts sending water again intill you use to much. Had a well/septic company come out and look at it,they couldn't pull the pump up and they didn't want to keep trying or it would cost me $3000! My 14 month old will not eat table food?

My 14 month old will not eat anything but baby pur�e food. Anything with chunks he gags and sometimes throws up. Any advice or suggestions on how I can get him to start eating table chunky food? Undiagnosed Aspergers?

A boy I know is very, very attached to me. He follows me around but doesn't speak. He is extremely anxious and flustered when someone asks him a question. He doesn't understand social cues at all and does very awkward things. Pregnancy Question...?

The time line is like this: You had , had your period, 2 weeks later you ovulate and the sperm meets the egg and you are officially pregnant. So you count 2 weeks after the regular period. (by the time you missed a period you would have been 6 weeks, so you can always count back from there) So, I would say you got pregnant january 10th or so. That will make it easy to count. You should deliver sometime around the first week september. I hope you are somewhere cool girl cause being 9 months pregnant in August isn't fun. :) Don't worry though, you will be fine. That is why there is air conditioning and ice cream lol! You definitely need to get to the Dr. soon. Make sure you have stopped drinking and smoking (common sense I know but its the mama in me lol) and don't take any kind of medicine (even for a headache!) until you talk to the Dr. If you have more questions, feel free to message me. I just started a new job about two weeks ago for an architectural firm. Since then, it has been very awkward. A little question about cake?

Trying top figure out the name of a book...?

I read this book in high school but can't remember the name of it. It is about a young man who was a cross country and track star back in the 60's. He became diagnosed with testicular cancer that moved through his body. While ravaged with cancer he became a track coach for young kids. His girls team won a championship the day after he sucb to cancer. I am almost positive it is a true story. This is a rather poor synopsis as it has probably been 13 years since I read this book. I work in Afghanistan for the Department of Defense. I have not been back to the U.S. for nearly 3 years. Finally, I was able to go home with my wife for the first time. Prior to my vacation I contacted Bank A (Trade...) and requested that some 10,000 be transferred to Bank B (Fide...) which is my primary bank. In compliance with my request Bank A forwarded the funds to Bank B. In effort; however, Bank A sent 20,000 instead of the requested 10,000. Upon realizing their error Bank A sent a request to Bank B asking them to send 10,000 (the extra funds) back. Bank A sent this request to two divisions in Bank B and subsequently both departments processed the request. At this point, because I had began spending my money, my account was overdrawn some 6,000 dollars. What exacerbated the situation is that it was all during Christmas time and my account stayed overdrawn for nearly 5 days. After correcting their error Bank B froze my bank account because it was seriously overdrawn for so long!!!? (They are the ones that caused the overdraft) After the account was frozen the next day my card linked to the account was frozen as well. All in all my funds were locked up for a week. This was during a 14 day vacation. The freeze on my account covered all of Christmas Eve and Christmas as well as the time before and after. Ok...these are the facts. So do I have grounds for a lawsuit...a real lawsuit. This is the first time I have ever felt like bringing a case against anyone. But...I want to know if I have grounds. Realistically I am extremely pissed off. This was the first time my wife and I were able to come back to the U.S. in nearly 3 years. I planned to do so much and see so much family but when we arrived all our funds were locked up. We were eating noodles and crap like that for a week and had to borrow money from family to put gas in the car just to drive around and visit friends and family. And to top it off when I was told '...oh Sir your bank account is frozen because your account was overdrawn...I wanted to freagging explode!!!!!!! Here they had made an error with my account and then froze my account like it was my fault. Again...do I have a real case? Some type of negligence?

Does anyone else have similar pain?

I've got the most excruciating pain on the right side of my face and head. It started over a year ago and comes and goes as it pleases. It feels as if it stems from just above my ear next to the temporomandibular joint, but the pain shoots through my jaw, down in my neck and throat, up into my temple and all around the top and back of my head. It's awful. It worsens at night while I'm lying down which almost makes it impossible to sleep. I've seen my doc and a neurologist, but no one knows what is wrong. So far I've been given pain killers. They work sometimes, sometimes they don't. I just can't imagine having this problem for the rest of my life. Just as soon as I think the problem is gone, it returns. I've heard that pain in this area is hard to diagnose. I was once told it was TMJ, but that was quickly crossed out. Can anyone relate?

Haha, well first off, if you look at my answer history, I answer some preeeetty long questions, so there is always someone reading these no matter the length. Anyways, this guy definitely shows signs of liking you. The fact that he acts weird around you, and says stupid things is a sign that he is somewhat nervous of what he says(this means he second guesses what he is going to say and thinks about it too much). Normally, when we teenage boys are around girls we like, we fumble our words and tend to be a little awkward. The poking thing is just more of a sign he likes you, and that among other things is just his way of trying to get your attention. If you find out your common interests, I think conversations will go much smoother because he will relax, knowing that you are actually talking about something he knows about. To get whats happend i need to explain from the start... My gf accidently missed her Birth control pill. So to stop her having an almost endless period (it lasted nearly 3 months) she came off the pill for a bit and we restrained ourselves... Later she then went back on the pill, but it goes wrong here we had before the recommended two week wait and i didnt withdraw. When we had again, she gushed quite a bit of blood which we later noticed to have alot of tissue like substance in it. It had no resemblance to a normal period it looked very light in colour and not to mention i know when shes on. There was no breakthrough or further bleeding afterwards, it was just one gush and it was over...? But now shes feeling a bit of pain during and still slightly bloated with cramps included. Also i noticed her cervix was in a much different place than usual, much closer to the l opening and softer than usual. So any ideas would help thanks.

Looks like something someone came up with to make money and will probably not work as with most bitless bridles. Bitless bridles work with approximately1% of horses. The rest you will need a bit. If you break your horse to a real Bosal and that takes time it works well but once you use a bit nothing else seems to work well. If this is an Indian Bosal it is from India, My ancestors never used anything that resembled that.

Best bet is take some benadryl around the clock, every four to six hours. It works very well, better than claritin for most people and the best part is you'll sleep like a baby and if you're asleep you're not going to miserable. You could also get some sudafed too for the congestion, but if you're nose is running like that, I don't think it'll do much for you. Sometimes just a plain saline nasal spray will help with sinus pain if you spray it right up into your sinuses. The sore throat is from junk dripping down the back of your throat, try some plain tylenol for that. If the pain gets too bad to swallow use some chloraseptic spray, it'll numb the throat for about 15 minutes which is great if you're trying to get to sleep.

My story begins back in September of 2007. I was going to college where I was viewed as a loner or a person that stayed to himself. What happened next, followed harment by my dorm room of college kids my own age (Eventually a guard would be put below my window). I left the college, but it was in regards to a decision in career opportunities not met while at that college. Three months later (January of 2008), I decided to return (stupid) only to find harment and stalking becoming ever more commonplace. In campus I was followed around, made fun of and hared. Eventually, things that I would do in my apartment, people would know/repeat what would happen there. In fact every time I would move in my apartment, a car alarm would go off; deployed by the students that stayed in my building. Eventually it got so bad that there was a protest that happened below my apartment. I decided that I would move to another apartment that was offered by student housing. This was worse, being that this place was bugged, and a man inside a vehicle outside my apartment would yell degrading comments every time I would move in the apartment. Now through this experience comes a question as to how would you know your apartment was bugged? Well, I would here people talk about my apartment on the street, or hear the exact same songs being played in parties that would play in my apartment. Eventually it got so bad that people outside my apartment would yell me going to kill you!!! As well as kick the apartment wall outside my apartment. It was from this point that I decided to talk to the police. When I talked to them nothing got solved except the harment being more intensified. Men outside my apartment were yelling degrading comments, students were demanding I "talk to someone" due to my loner behavior, and I began to become an outcast on the college's campus. Eventually being referred as a weirdo, psychopath and other degrading terms. When I decided to leave to go home, men came outside my dorm room demanded I stay at the college, and began to make death threats. It got so bad that I could see them outside the window making these threats. That is when I decided to call the cops a second time. When the cops came, they said there was no foot prints outside my window, and requested that I go to the hospital. While there I see the exact same guys that were there outside my window were there in the hospital (same guys that bugged me). Fearing for my life, I told the doctors that I was hearing voices and was put in a hospital. Thinking that everything would be alright, the people in the hospital said, that you should go back to the college and they began wearing the college's emblems (From one nightmare to the next). Eventually I got out of the hospital and went home to my parent's house. When I was there I found the wires in my basement messed up, and my house, and phone conversations "bugged". When I would go and walk on the street things that happened in my house, people would know about. In fact joke and talk about the ailments that happened in college. On top of that. While driving on the road, a phone company truck, and/or hospital van would show every single day. To top this off, every time I move in my own house, a car pes by with a person yelling out that you messed up and/or electrical pulses are sent through my house. On top of that they cause havoc in the world. For example, every time "I would mess up"(as said by people who yell past my house everyday) I would see problems within my community and the world even though it sounds crazy. Because of my hospitalization, if I bring this information up with my parents, they think I going nuts and think a higher dosage of medication will work......but I am not nuts. For crying out loud I faked the illness to escape that havoc. So my life has been a living hell ever since I decided to go back to that college in January. Since that time, my life has been of harment, stalking, and my house and phone calls being bugged. It's as if there is nothing you can do anything about. I want to mention that most of the people in my home town changed their license plates to the license plates of the college I went to. Plus on top of that each neighbor I would wave hi too, guys in pick up trucks would go to their houses and install bugging equipment within their residences. I witnessed this happening. The last thing I want to add is that now every time I go past a cell phone, a third party participant yells degrading information over the phone. And everyone in my home town considers me a psychopath for leaving the college. To add further woe, when I left the country to visit a relative, these same things would happen there. The only difference was that when I would "mess up"(as said by the drivers), they would honk their horn. For example, if I would get up too fast, or start moving around a car would beep its horn. All these events that occurred are real though it sounds crazy. My illn

Why did this happen when I was d?
