Introducing a new cat to my older cat?

keep the two in separate rooms for the first few days so they can get used to each others sent then when you go introduce them put the new cat in a carrier and let the other come investigate then see how its going you might need to try something else or the cats could become best friends given time but remember the cat you have now WILL NOT be happy right off the bat because it is his house
