Employer has no plan for me?

I just started a new job about two weeks ago for an architectural firm. Since then, it has been very awkward. I was hired to be a graphic designer, since then they have moved me to several different positions and are not placing me in the graphic design division. My work hours change constantly from 9AM-5PM, to 5AM- 3PM and I have no idea what they are doing. They keep telling me that they have no idea where to place me yet. Is there anything I can do to change this. I'm sick of moving around. How do I approach them??
