Haha, well first off, if you look at my answer history, I answer some preeeetty long questions, so there is always someone reading these no matter the length. Anyways, this guy definitely shows signs of liking you. The fact that he acts weird around you, and says stupid things is a sign that he is somewhat nervous of what he says(this means he second guesses what he is going to say and thinks about it too much). Normally, when we teenage boys are around girls we like, we fumble our words and tend to be a little awkward. The poking thing is just more of a sign he likes you, and that among other things is just his way of trying to get your attention. If you find out your common interests, I think conversations will go much smoother because he will relax, knowing that you are actually talking about something he knows about.
