When Bush was President was the bad economy his fault?

Yes, I know who's President now and I also agree it is now his economy. However I have been on YA for about a year and when the economy was going to sh*& last year/ the DOW started looking pitiful, I remember distinctly reading that,how the economy is doing can't be blamed on the President. So my question is did you blame the economy on the Bush Administration when he was President? Do you blame the current economy on Obama? Thanks in advance for all answers.
