Age Limit for Politicians.?

I saw Senator T. Kenendy on the News and though he has been diagnosed with a Malignant Tumor which I beleive will impede him in his job. I don't think he will retire. Should there be at least a committe that oversees these people who may likley be more of a negative than a positive in our Government?
