What is a good ecology subject to write a summary about?

I suggest picking a subject that you find interesting. Like, would you like to learn about African mammals - wildebeest and gazelles eating plants, and lions eating them in turn? Or insects - like ants who actually raise crops and effect the ecology around them? Or something weird - the ecosystem by volcanic vents at the bottom of the ocean and get their energy from geothermal instead of the sun, only discovered a few decades ago.
